Apophyllite, Heulandite (Specimen #100264)

Description:  A very attractive specimen with a cluster of elongated pseudocubes of light green apophyllite crystals on a dark basalt matrix. The apophyllite crystals are translucent with the largest measuring 2.5 X 1.8 cm. Scattered between the pseudocube crystals are small blades of creamy white heulandite. This is a sparkly, well-balanced zeolite specimen, in excellent condition from the famous basalt quarries in the Maharashtra region of India.
