Location: Dog Lake occurrence (Cranberry Lake occurrence; Fiddlers Elbow occurrence), Storrington Township, Frontenac County, Ontario

Description: From a classic occurrence, a beautiful, lustrous specimen covered with dozens of smaller, green, translucent diopside crystals with sharp faces. This specimen and the green, translucent crystals are not common in this deposit as most crystals are coated with a dusting of talc or serpentine. A very nice larger display piece in very good condition. This locale has been referenced by several names and there are small deposits at several locations in the vicinity. This specimen originates from the Dog Lake property.
