Location: La Rose Mine Property, Coleman Township, Cobalt area, Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada
Description: A fantastic, old miner’s candlestick comprised of an anchor wire and an original wax candle. This candlestick is circa 1910 and was the predominant lighting device in Cobalt silver mines during the Candlelight Era (1865-1915). This candlestick would have been used underground, was found in the mine waste rock dumps and is in excellent condition. These items do not come on the market very often and this candlestick would be a treasured addition to any collection with Cobalt silver specimens and related mining artifacts.
