Prehnite Stalactite (Specimen #700117)

Description:   A large, pale blue-green, translucent stalactite of prehnite. The radiating prehnite growth formed around a long thin epidote “ghost” crystal as a central core and can be seen outcropping at the base of the stalagmite. This interesting example exhibits natural surface shrinkage cracks.
