The silver veins at this mine location were discovered in 1904 and the property was mined by Nipissing Mines Co. with most of the mining taking place before 1925. The property was developed by three shafts the deepest being 685ft. There were numerous veins on the property with the richest being vein #26. That vein produced 1,500,000 oz. of silver. Total production for the property was approx. 7 million oz. The mine shut down completely in 1956.
